Hello. I received my scoping training at the Internet Scoping School. As a prior court reporting student at Gateway Community College, I am very familiar with note reading and steno writing. Though trained in StenEd, I am also familiar with StenoMaster, Realwrite/Reatime, and the Phoenix Theory, as well as popular briefs and phrases. (At N-FT Scoping, we are continually adding new briefs and phrases to our database.) I have taken a number of courses in Case CATalyst, and will continue taking courses available through Stenograph to keep up with the latest technology. I have extremely strong research and English skills. I am a proud member of the NCRA.
Prior schooling and work experience: graduated summa cum laude from Hunter College, New York City, with a BA in Economics; customer service, underwriting, and large group case management in both the financial and medical insurance industries; former holder of the NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses, which qualified me to work with mutual funds, variable annuities, and securities.
For the past ten years, I have worked in social services as an Adult Probation Officer and as a case manager dealing with at-risk families, the homeless, and the seriously mentally ill. I have extensive experience with family, juvenile, criminal, and probate court proceedings.
I look forward to working with you! |
